Iowa Journal looks at the economic impact of general aviation in the state.

General Aviation is any flight that's not scheduled or military. That covers the majority of airports, flights and planes in the state.

The Iowa DOT is currently conducting an economic survey of this type of transportation.

Our in-studio discussion includes Tim Busch of Cedar Rapids who also is head of the Iowa Aviation Promotion Group and Michelle McEnany, director of the Iowa DOT's aviation office.
