NATURE | Wisdom of the Wild | George and Ostentatious | PBS

Program: Nature #1705

Only 16 years old, George has been through some rough spots. He’s been homeless, and he spent some time in jail. However, since meeting a quarter horse named Ostentatious, George says he’s finally found someone who trusts and loves him. A horse, he says, “can bring back a feeling in a person that has disappeared long since.” “Wisdom of the Wild” illustrates some of the surprising ways in which animals help teach, heal, and strengthen people, in body, mind, and spirit.
“Wisdom of the Wild” is part of the 26th season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen/WNET New York for PBS. Major support provided by Canon U.S.A. Inc., Toyota, SC Johnson, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. For more information, visit www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episod...
