Government Lab Looks for Renewable Energy Solutions

After the oil crisis of the 1970s, Congress authorized the creation of a government laboratory tasked with solving the puzzle of how to save energy using renewable resources. Three decades later, more than 1,100 scientists and engineers continue their search at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado.
