Program: Assignment Iowa #106
How well are you caring for yourself, both physically and emotionally?
We hear advice from experts in the fields of wellness, nutrition, and
medical science on how we can take better care of our hearts so that
they can take care of us. And we sit down with Iowa’s most famous heart
patient, former Iowa State and NBA basketball star Fred Hoiberg. The
discovery of a serious heart ailment put an abrupt halt to his career,
and saved his life. On this Assignment Iowa, we stray from our usual intellectual pursuits to examine some matters of the heart.
