Iowa Historian Tom Morain: To Rattle Dry Bones

Tom Morain, long-time historian in the state of Iowa, elaborates on how the stories of people who lived before us can enliven the ‘dry bones’ of historical facts, in this speech recorded March 30th, 2012 on the Des Moines Area Community College campus in Ankeny.

His appearance is the first in a series of speeches called "The Dorothy Schwieder Iowa Talks" series, set up by the Iowa Studies Center, a collaborative history project of the Des Moines Area Community College and Salisbury House of Des Moines.
