How can educators succeed in the 21st Century, with higher academic expectations for students, and continuing pressure on teachers? The 2012 Iowa Teacher & Principal Leadership Symposium offered the ideas of some national and international leaders. This program highlights presentations from Mark Tucker of the National Center on Education and the Economy and Vivien Stewart of the Asia Society. Brad Jupp, senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Education, speaks in part 2 of this programme.
