How can educators succeed in the 21st Century, with higher academic expectations for students, and continuing pressure on teachers? The 2012 Iowa Teacher & Principal Leadership Symposium offered the ideas of some national and international leaders. This program highlights presentations from Brad Jupp, senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Education, as well as Mark Tucker of the National Center on Education and the Economy and Vivien Stewart of the Asia Society, who speak in part 1 of this programme.
