A visual trip through the Northwest Passage as seen by sailboat Cloud 9. David Thoreson documented his history-making journey in the documentary "An Arctic Journey in a Changing World." It premiers on Iowa Public Television in December of 2008.

This unprecedented sailing journey through the Northwest Passage reveals not only little-seen lands, but also the astonishing degree to which our planet's polar ice cap has melted, due to global warming and climate change.
