Program: Panda Tales
Go behind the scenes at the San Diego Zoo and get a rare look at the first year of life of the baby giant panda Zhen Zhen in PANDA TALES.
Since making her entrance into this world, giant panda cub Zhen Zhen has captivated San Diego Zoo and "panda cam" visitors with her antics and charm. This program, airing as part of the December 2008 pledge drive (check local listings) on PBS, covers the first year of her life; it also takes a serious look at the plight of the giant panda and how the zoo's program has affected the resurgence of this endearing species.
