NATURE | Siberian Tiger Quest | A Tiger Patrolling the Pacific | PBS
Duration: 02:34
Program:
Nature #3001
Broadcast Date: Oct. 1, 2012
Filmmaker Sooyong Park photographs a male tiger, Sky White, surveying his territory from a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Park spent more than five years searching for tigers in Russia's north eastern forests. His technique was unconventional, but produced more than a thousand hours of wild tiger footage that told the story of a three-generation tiger dynasty. "Siberian Tiger Quest" premieres on PBS Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 8pm ET and is part of the 31st season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen in association with WNET for PBS. Major support provided by Canon USA Inc. www.pbs.org
