NATURE | Animal Odd Couples | Kate and Pip | PBS
Duration: 01:04
Program:
Nature #3003
Broadcast Date: Nov. 6, 2012
After being abandoned by her mother, a baby fawn, Pippin, was adopted by a Great Dane, Kate, and they have been best friends ever since. Kate's owner Isobel Springett describes the uniqueness of their relationship: "When they greet each other, I've never seen anything like it. It's not a deer greeting a deer. It's not a dog greeting a dog. It's definitely something that they have between the two of them." "Animal Odd Couples" premieres Wednesday, November 7 at 8/7c (check local listings) and is part of the 31st season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen in association with WNET for PBS. Major support provided by Canon USA Inc.
