NATURE | An Original DUCKumentary | Warm Ducks in the Cold Arctic | PBS
Duration: 01:23
Program:
Nature #3004
Broadcast Date: Nov. 13, 2012
Even in the depths of the Arctic winter, Common Goldeneyes stay a toasty 105 degrees inside their dense feathers. Their challenge is to prevent all that warmth from escaping into the icy water through their naked legs and big, webbed feet. "An Original DUCKumentary" premieres Wednesday, November 14 at 8/7c (check local listings) and is part of the 31st season of the Peabody and Emmy award-winning series produced by Thirteen in association with WNET for PBS. Major support provided by Canon USA Inc. www.pbs.org
