Discussion: Iowa's Budget Crunch - Looking for Efficiencies

Duration: 12:00

The Iowa Journal looks at government efficiencies at the state and city levels.
Guests on this discussion are: Richard Johnson, the Auditor of Iowa for 24 years before his retirement in 2003; and Michael B. Shear, Founder and CEO of POCKETS Distributed Workplace Alternative. Shear has almost 3 decades experience in bringing new technologies and services to market.

Questions will include: do we need to build another state office building? Are there alternatives to moving office workers to communities outside of the metro to take advantage of lower rent, shorter commutes and filling space in small towns.
