The program will also explore some of the cultural offerings that have transformed Des Moines from a "sleepy" city to number four on Forbes Best Places list, talk to some of the city’s art and entertainment entrepreneurs, and find out why one couple recently moved to Des Moines from Austin, Texas, to take advantage of the cultural climate.
In the news analysis, Jeneane Beck of Iowa Public Radio talks with host Paul Yeager about labor issues including fair share, prevailing wage, the Atalissa bunkhouse at House Oversight committee and gas tax.
