Mark Fenton, host of the PBS show "America's Walking," is an entertaining, persuasive, and knowledgeable walking advocate, and one the nation's foremost experts on its favorite exercise. This presentation addresses walking for fitness and weight loss, the additional benefits of walking for students, teachers, and communities, tips for walkable communities, and safe routes.
This entertaining and informative presentation is of great value to Lighten Up Iowa teams, Safe Routes to School grant recipients (and applicants), all teachers but especially P.E. and health, Great Places coordinators, and city planners.
