Ag in the Classroom

Duration: 05:47

Agriculture generates roughly 22 million jobs in the United States, most of those however are located off the farm and more people are further removed from farming than ever before, It has been predicted however that food scientists, horticulturists and plant geneticists will be in great demand in the future. To help young people have a better understanding of the importance of food, a USDA program is going to school to put students in touch with their agricultural roots.
