The Indochinese exodus followed decades of war and chaos in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, called the Vietnam War. David Yepsen reflects on how the legacy of that time will always be with us.
David Yepsen is the chief political correspondent for The Des Moines Register. A native Iowan, he has covered government and politics for the Register for 32 years.
