The dream of many 4-H students who show beef cattle at the Iowa State Fair is to have their steer selected as Grand Champion in the Livestock Pavilion. Chosen from a field of animals that are winners in their own right, these champions represent a year of work by one young Iowan to raise the best example of an individual beef breed.
