How do school principals help students learn and teachers teach? The Iowa Journal looks at how effective school leadership in Iowa can help increase student achievement. The program will also share some of the national perspective with scenes from the PBS documentary, "The Principal Story."
Guests for the program include: Troyce Fisher of the School Administrators of Iowa; long-time Des Moines North High School principal, Vincent Lewis; and Ben Johnson, an up-and-coming assistant high school principal from Fort Dodge. The program will also feature reports from Clear Creek Amana Middle School, and an interview with Iowa Department of Education Director Judy Jeffrey.
