Program: The Iowa Journal #302
Broadcast Date: Sep. 17, 2009
Iowa's economy continues down a path its not strayed in 16 months. The Iowa Leading Indicators Index fell again in July-- a slide that goes back to January of 2008, the record high, to now, the record low. Economic surveys are not new. Each have different scopes of focus. One conducted by a Creighton University economics professor looks at Iowa's role in the whole Midwestern economy. Some of those same factors are looked at for a similar survey done by a Creighton University economics professor, Ernie Goss.
