Hard work and perseverance are rewarded as the winners of the 4-H and FFA animal events sell their prize winning entries at the Iowa State Fair’s annual auction-style sale. Students receive cash awards that are a combination of auction proceeds from business owners and money raised in the winner's home town. Colonel Al Conover has the call in the Cattle Barn.
