Transcript (RTF)

What are the effects of global climate change on Iowa? How will life be altered and what we can do about it is the focus of this week’s Iowa Journal. The 2007 Nobel Peace Prize went to Vice President Al Gore for his work in familiarizing the public with the concept of Global Warming. The prize also went to a committee of hundreds of scientists who’ve contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. We'll learn what the Iowa scientists on that panel have found, and how it applies to life in Iowa in the coming decades. We also go behind the headlines with Radio Iowa's Kay Henderson.
