Bud Hall was in the amphibious forces in the Navy from ‘44 to ’46. He served aboard an LCT and tells us their 3,500 miles trip to Guam on that small craft. They survived a 3-day typhoon with 35 to 40 foot waves that pushed them 360 miles off course.
