On a recent national mental health report card, the state of Iowa received an “F.” Are we failing those among us who most need our help? We’ll explore that matter tonight along with a look behind the headlines and a view of our state from an open cockpit biplane. This episode's host is Todd Mundt.
Guests include: Dr. Bhasker Dave, the superintendent of the Mental Health Institute in Independence; Mary Beth Pfeiffer, a journalist from New York City; Kevin Concannon, the director of the Iowa Department of Human Services; and Dr. Bruce Sieleni, Iowa President of NAMI, and Department of Corrections employee.
