Amy Johnson Boyle hosts a look at America’s Financial Crises with Iowa experts who predict we’ll be feeling the society-wide costs of sub-prime mortgage defaults in the next year or so.

Guests include: David Swensen, Iowa State University economist and Katherine Porter, associate professor of Law at the University of Iowa. News analyst for this episode is Jeneane Beck of Iowa Public Radio. Marvin Bell, a long-time professor at the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, reads his Iowa Essay about accepting and appreciating all the things that Iowa is not.
