For every white person in Iowa’s prisons, there are 13 who are black. Why is Iowa still worst in the nation for incarcerating disproportionate numbers of minorities? With the November 14th passing of Waterloo Civil Rights Activist Jimmie Porter, we’ll examine the status of African Americans in Iowa.
