The world is now an open market. Goods, services and investment capital flow freely. Yet one small labor sector, workers who do the jobs that most Americans shun, has become a serious issue in many quarters. There are currently seven million undocumented workers in the U.S. Their impact is economic, political and cultural. Assignment Iowa examines the scope of this sector and potential solutions with Iowa State University Professor Emeritus Neil Harl.
